"The ignoring of the problem for years blew up in our faces today. The terrible leniency towards the crimes of violence and harm to the Jews brought us to this event. Riots by wall guards in Ramle, during which shots were fired, Molotov cocktails and rocks were thrown, entire streets were set on fire, a synagogue was burned, Tishmesh Kadusha parking lots were looted and the late Destau Bist was trampled to death were not dealt with. The number of indictments for these hundreds of incidents that belong to a dark period in history can be counted on one hand only.
"Conciliation meetings, summaries and closing of complaints of Jews one by one; without any treatment - cannot be the way of operation of the police in a sovereign country [as it threatens] the security and peace of the city and our children.
"The ridiculous attempt to turn a terrorist running through the city center with a knife into a "mentally ill," and the whole burning of a car or store in the city into a "short circuit" is stupid and dangerous, and the residents of the city don't buy these stupid calming sirens."
