Security forces arrest several suspects in connection to Bruchin attack on pregnant woman

On Saturday morning, the IDF located and arrested several suspects who were connected to the attack.

IDF soldiers conducted targeted searches for the terrorist who murdered 30-year-old Tzeela Gez in Bruchin on Wednesday night, in the village of Bruchin near the scene of the attack, the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) announced on Saturday.

Gez was a mother of three and was killed near the settlements of Peduel and Bruchin in the West Bank while she was on her way to the hospital to give birth.

Several suspects arrested

On Saturday morning, the IDF located and arrested several suspects who were connected to the attack.

During the arrest of one of the suspects, a terrorist was identified running towards the forces while holding a backpack that was suspected of being rigged with explosives, while shouting "Allahu Akbar." The soldiers shot the terrorist in response.

There were no injuries reported among Israeli troops.

The investigation into the terror attack is ongoing and is being conducted by the Shin Bet and the Samaria District Police.
