The Jerusalem Post Group, Israel's leading English-language news platform, is hosting a special broadcast event focusing on the recovery and revitalization of Israel's northern region following the recent ceasefire.

The broadcast will center around the critical efforts to rebuild the region, including physical reconstruction, economic development, restoring public services, and strengthening community resilience, while also exploring the challenges of reintegrating children into schools and ensuring long-term sustainability for families returning to their homes.

The Jerusalem Post's Rebuilding the North broadcast will feature key leaders and experts dedicated to revitalizing Israel’s northern communities. Participants will include Haim Bibas, Chairman of the Federation of Local Authorities and Mayor of Modi'in Maccabim Reut; Yona Yahav, Mayor of Haifa; Erel Margalit, Chairman of JVP and Margalit StartUp City; Amir Avivi, Chairman of Israel’s Defense and Security Forum; and Sarit Zehavi, President of the Alma Research and Education Center.

Also present will be Moshe Davidovich, Head of Mate Asher Regional Council; Prof. Meirav Hen of Tel Hai College; Marc Reiss of Mizrahi Tefahot; Amit Lang, CEO of Mekorot; Chief Marketing Officer of Jewish National Fund-USA Jodi Bodner and Moshe Ben Zaken from the Ministry of Transport; Sigal Barzelay, CEO of Ayalim Association; Lior Simcha, Chairman of the Kibbutz Movement; Dr. Noam Yehudai, Director of Tzafon Medical Center (Poria); and Efrat Stern of Joint "Israel Unlimited." These and other experts will gather to discuss rebuilding and strengthening northern communities.

Led by the Jerusalem Post's experienced team of journalists, the event aims to inspire dialogue and collaboration both nationally and internationally. By showcasing innovative strategies and sharing inspiring stories, the broadcast seeks to provide actionable solutions for rebuilding and renewing communities in the face of adversity.
