Jordan's King Abdullah responded by saying he rejected any attempts to annex land and displace Palestinians.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer
"They (Palestinians) must be allowed home, they must be allowed to rebuild, and we should be with them in that rebuild on the way to a two-state solution," British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said in response to Trump's statement.
Qatar
Qatar, a key mediator in the Gaza ceasefire talks, was busy with phase two of the deal and said it was too early to talk about the issue of Palestinians and displacement, Qatar's foreign ministry spokesperson told Fox News on Wednesday.
"We know that there is a lot of trauma on the Palestinian side when it comes to displacement. However, again, it's too early to talk about this because we don't know how this war will end," Majed Al-Ansari said.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan
Trump's comments about a plan to take over the war-ravaged Gaza Strip are "unacceptable," Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Wednesday, adding any plans leaving Palestinians "out of the equation" would lead to more conflict.
Speaking to the state-owned Anadolu news agency, he said Turkey would review the steps it had taken against Israel - cutting off trade and recalling its ambassador - if the killing of Palestinians stopped and their conditions changed.
