Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that while there has been significant progress in the Gaza hostage deal, "it is too soon to give people hope," in a video released across his social media on Tuesday.

"We are currently working ceaselessly on it," Netanyahu said.

The prime minister is expected to hold an additional meeting today regarding the deal.

The Hostage Families Forum responded to Netanyahu's remarks, where they urged the prime minister to reach a deal to free their loved ones.

"At this moment, while the prime minister is updating through the media (again) on significant progress in negotiations, we would like to remind: There is no need to reinvent the wheel; there is a comprehensive agreement on the table, and the prime minister could sign it tomorrow morning, should he choose to do so."

"The Israeli people, by a decisive majority, want an agreement that will bring everyone back—55 hostages—at the cost of halting the fighting. Without selections, without categories, and without cruel separation between one life and another," the Forum stated.

"The families are fed up with spin and false narratives; they long for good news and hope that the prime minister will have the courage to choose the only course of action that can ensure an Israeli victory and national revival."

"We will bring them back. We will rise," the families concluded.

Netanayhu also discussed haredi draft law and Milei visit

The prime minister also stated that there were people working on a haredi draft law that "would honor those who study Torah, but the law will bring in a large enlistment," stating it would result in thousands of haredi recruits.

Netanyahu also confirmed he would meet with Argentinian President Javier Milei, who he called "a true friend of Israel."

"It is a blessing to Israel that the world has leaders like this, who understand our struggle," he said.
