The IDF killed two terrorists dressed as women near a military structure used by Hamas, the military announced Tuesday.

The operation was led by the Givati Brigade under the direction of the Intelligence Branch and the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) as part of Operation "Gideon’s Chariots."

The terrorists were killed by an aircraft after being identified.

Givati soldiers also located missile launchers used by Hamas, as well as weapons.

The IDF confirmed on Tuesday that the IDF soldiers fired warning shots at suspects overnight who were posing a risk to soldiers in the area of Wadi Gaza, conflicting with the reports issued by Hamas-run Palestinian agencies on the same event.

The suspects were approaching an aid distribution site hours before the site was set to open, the military said.

Hamas-run health authorities reported that at least 17 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded as the “displaced people” approached the aid site. Hamas later said that 20 people were killed and dozens wounded, and blamed Israel for the incident.
