Israel Police find body of elderly man near hit home in Bnei Brak
More than 20 people were wounded by the impact in Bnei Brak, bordering Tel Aviv, Israel Police said.
The body of a man in his 80s was found by Israel Police during a search of buildings surrounding an impacted site in the Bnei Brak-Tel Aviv area, police confirmed on Monday morning.
MDA paramedic David Suisa said: "When they were conducting searches in the rubble together with other Home Front Command personnel, we saw a man about 80 years old trapped and unconscious. We assisted in the rescue operations, and during medical examinations, we were forced to declare him dead at the scene.
"At this stage, MDA forces are at all the scenes where there is a possibility of additional casualties and are ready to receive and treat additional casualties."
More than 20 people were wounded by the impact in Bnei Brak, bordering Tel Aviv, Israel Police said.
Rescue operations at the scene are ongoing at the site of two different impacts.
Civilians killed during Iran's Sunday night-Monday morning attacks
A total of eight people have died, including the man in his 80s, as a result of the overnight Iran attacks as of Monday morning, according to an update by Magen David Adom. 22 civilians have been killed since the conflict began.Two of the victims are women in their 70s, and two men are believed to also be in their 70s.
Later on Monday morning, the Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that after hours of searching the site of an impact in Haifa, they discovered the bodies of three civilians.
MDA medic Yoel Rosenthal said: "We saw significant destruction on the street, many casualties came out to us from the buildings and rubble. Together with Home Front Command forces, we began rescuing the trapped wounded. We called via megaphone for additional wounded to come to the casualty concentration point where we provided initial medical treatment, and from there we transferred those who needed further treatment to be evacuated to the hospital in MDA intensive care vehicles and ambulances. At this stage, MDA forces are at all the scenes where there is a possibility of additional casualties and are ready to receive and treat additional wounded."
