IDF drone destroys Iranian F-14 fighter jets in Tehran airbase just before taking off
In recent days, Air Force aircraft have been tracking the launch team, identifying the launchers deploying the jets and the weaponry in the area.
An IDF drone struck two Iranian F-14 fighter jets in a Tehran airbase minutes before they were set to take off, the Israeli military revealed on Monday evening.
Additionally, the IAF struck and thwarted an attempt to launch drones toward Israel.
In recent days, an Air Force aircraft have been tracking the drone launch team and identifying the launchers deploying the drones and the weaponry in the area.
The launch team was killed, and the launchers were destroyed just minutes before they were able to launch towards Israeli territory.

Iran's F-14 fighter jets
The originally American-made F-14 fighter jets were exported to Iran during the rule of the deposed Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.As of 2025, the F-14 jets are in low numbers of combat-ready aircraft.
