Last week, over 2,000 Jews from North America participated in a series of Aliyah fairs and cultural events, looking for guidance and support in their move to Israel. These events were organized by Nefesh B’Nefesh in partnership with Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, The Jewish Agency for Israel, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (KKL), and Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF-USA). The tour included large fairs, personalized consultations, and concerts celebrating Jewish unity and the Aliyah experience.

The flagship Annual Aliyah Fair in Teaneck, New Jersey, drew around 600 participants, serving as a central resource for vital services. Participants connected with representatives from the Jerusalem Municipality, as well as real estate, finance, and legal professionals to help them manage the intricacies of immigration.

Workshops, live consultations, and interactive panels offered customized support. Alongside the major fair, the “Aliyah-In-One” initiative in Toronto and New Jersey assisted individuals who are already engaged in the process by helping them finalize essential paperwork and speed up background checks. There are plans to broaden these mini-fairs to Los Angeles and Miami later this year.

A series of concerts with renowned singer Yonatan Razel in Chicago and Toronto infused a festive spirit, uniting Jewish communities and providing direct access to Aliyah advisors.“Since October 7th, tens of thousands have made Aliyah despite the war,” said Ofir Sofer, Israel’s Minister of Aliyah and Integration. “Aliyah is the essence of Zionism.”

Rabbi Yehoshua Fass, Co-Founder of Nefesh B’Nefesh, described the week as “impactful and inspiring,” stating, “We are proud to help people make their dreams of life in Israel a reality.”
