The international home appliance brand Beko has gained global recognition for its commitment to sustainability, ranking 44th on TIME Magazine's list of the world's leading companies in sustainability. This ranking, conducted in collaboration with market data analysis portal Statista, underscores Beko's dedication to an eco-friendly agenda and positions it as a leader in sustainable manufacturing.

With a score of 75.68 out of 100, Beko achieved the highest ranking among home appliance companies and secured the fourth position within the "Manufacturing and Industrial Production" sectors. TIME and Statista evaluated over 5,000 global companies using a comprehensive four-step methodology: filtering out non-sustainable companies, participation in recognized sustainability initiatives, adherence to international sustainability reporting standards, and environmental and social management. Only 500 companies made it to the final list.

Sharon Rahamim, Beko's Vice President of Trade in Israel, stated, "We believe that a sustainable future begins at home, with each of us. The recognition Beko receives from TIME and Statista marks a significant milestone celebrating the company's achievements and reinforcing its commitment to driving sustainable change. Beko's leadership and innovation in sustainability serve as a strong example for the industry and encourage a collective effort to create a greener, more sustainable world. We are committed to continuing the development of products that make daily life easier and contribute to preserving the planet for current and future generations."

Beko's commitment to sustainability is detailed in its 2023 sustainability report, titled "Feels Like Home." The company's 16th annual report highlights its progress towards the ambitious goal of becoming a net-zero business by 2050.
