In October 2023, following the closure of Terminal 1 for domestic and international flights, the James Richardson Duty-Free shop also closed its doors. On Sunday, June 2, after more than seven months, the duty-free shop in Terminal 1 reopened and is now available for travelers. The shop has been renovated and renewed, featuring more brands and more products.

Travelers will find popular and well-known brands, as well as new additions like the haircare brand K18, a variety of perfumes from the premium brand Creed, leading makeup brand Benefit, a new Estee Lauder counter, and brands like Dior, CHANEL, and more.

Similar to Terminal 3, customers can pre-order products through the company's website, pay in-store, and collect their items at the collection point with returns available. This means that travelers from Terminal 1 can order and enjoy a variety of duty-free products from Terminal 3.

Additionally, a Mini Market counter offering travel-size products from leading brands in skincare, makeup, and toiletries has been added. These small-sized products are suitable for travel and allow travelers to take all necessary items on their trip with minimal weight. The checkout line products have also been upgraded, offering travelers a wide range of items.

Another piece of good news: personalized engraving on perfumes purchased in the duty-free shop and ordered online before the trip will be available.

Shani Inbar Kriti, James Richardson's Marketing VP, stated: "We are happy to reopen the James Richardson shop in Terminal 1. Despite the challenging times, we have retained our staff as much as possible. We welcome the employees who have returned to us and to their workplace and wish all of Israel a quiet summer and a pleasant journey."
