Residents of Zikim, Karmia instructed to shelter in place

Residents of Zikim and Karmia near the Gaza border were directed to shelter in place due to a security incident on Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly afterward, residents of the Shimshon, Agamim, and Givat Zion neighborhoods of Ashkelon were asked to shelter in place as well due to a security incident. Later in the evening, residents of Ashkelon were given the all clear.
