The IDF struck at least seven Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon on Sunday, as Hezbollah launched several rocket and drone attacks against Israel throughout the day.
In one of the strikes, an Israeli airstrike targeted a Hezbollah terrorist who was spotted exiting a military structure in Naqoura. Later in the day, two additional terrorists operating near Ayta ash Shab were targeted by the IDF.
Hezbollah announced on Sunday afternoon that one of its members had been killed, with Lebanese media saying the terrorist was killed in the strike in Naqoura.
Throughout the morning and early afternoon, Hezbollah launched over 15 projectiles from Lebanon towards northern Israel. No injuries were reported.
Additional rocket launches were reported later in the day, with police saying they were handling sites where rockets fell in Kiryat Shmona on Sunday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
Magen David Adom said that a man in his 40s was lightly injured by a shockwave and a woman in her 30s suffered from anxiety due to the rocket fire toward Kiryat Shmona.
Additionally, on Sunday afternoon, the IDF targeted Hezbollah terrorists in Houla, killing at least one terrorist, according to Lebanese reports. IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari confirmed that the IDF had eliminated seven Hezbollah terrorists throughout the day on Sunday evening.
Civilian suffers shock after house hit by anti-tank missile
The Merom HaGalil Regional Council announced on Sunday afternoon that an anti-tank missile hit a house in Avivim and a civilian was rescued from the house while suffering from shock.
"Another civilian was injured, another house destroyed. Another miracle has happened. We demand that the government act with a strong hand and land a blow of fire and smoke on the enemy. We are not giving up the north and hold fast, but at the same time, I suggest to the government not to use this patience of ours against us. We must not lose the north," said Amit Sofer, the head of the regional council.
In addition, Moran Dadush, a resident of Goren in northern Israel, said Sunday, "We have become transparent. In Israel today there are two states - one includes the areas that were not evacuated - and the other includes the evacuees and residents who remained in the combat areas from the south and the north. We are happy that life is going on in the rest of the country - but what is happening with us?"
"The truth must be told - the State of Israel put the south and the north on the altar. The country continues as usual and normalizes the war situation in the north - as long as the life of the rest of the country is not disturbed. This is the normalization that has been in the Gaza border communities for all these years - and we saw what happened," added Dadush.
"For eight months, we have been bombarded in the north with rocket fire, drones, anti-tank missiles - and whatnot. The situation has become routine in the eyes of those who do not live here. Now, after rockets were fired at the center, they immediately went to the news studio for updates. A few minutes before, alarms were sounded in the north for fear of drone infiltrations - but did anyone pay attention to this? We already understood whose life is more important."
Moshe Davidovitz, head of the Mateh Asher Regional Council and chair of the Confrontation Line Forum, also added, "Ten rockets fell in the center of the country, and the media is buzzing and noisy. The country is storming! Every day, dozens of rockets are fired at the towns of the confrontation line and the Galilee, including anti-tank missiles and Kamikaze drones, and the country is silent! Again and again [we see] the proof that the north is not considered!"
