Senior Israeli officials were informed that there had been no progress in hostage deal negotiations, Israeli state broadcaster KAN reported on Sunday morning.
According to KAN, one of the issues of contention between the two sides is the Israeli requirement that it remain in the Philadelphi Corridor in southern Gaza.
The Israeli outlet also reported that morning that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted in a conversation with US President Joe Biden that Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh's death would delay the continuation of hostage negotiations for several days.
