Otzma Yehudit MK Yitzhak Kreuzer wrote to Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) on Sunday, asking to investigate how American funds had been used to "exert improper influence in Israeli affairs."
"It is evident that American funds have been improperly allocated in Israel, throughout the Middle East, and indeed across the globe," Kreuzer stated, adding that he requests access to available information regarding subsidies and grants to non-governmental organizations, media outlets, and individual journalists operating in Israel."
"Publicly available sources already indicate that USAID and other government agencies have allocated millions of dollars to these entities within a relatively short period of time," Kreuzer added.
Krezuer concluded by stating that the "misuse of foreign funds in Israel, particularly in ways that undermine national interests and the democratic process, is a matter of the utmost concern" before inviting Musk or his representative to a meeting either in Washington or Jerusalem to discuss further.
Krezuer, with the assistance of the research department of the Ad Kan organization, has sent a letter to Elon Musk, urging him to uncover all information regarding USAID funds transferred to Israeli organizations.
We've all been amazed by the incredible work of @realdonaldtrump and @elonmusk since taking office in January. As a true friend of Israel since long before October 7th, I believe Elon will agree to our request and reveal how American taxpayer money has been misused in Israel. pic.twitter.com/OfbQD1TfrI

Following US Congressman Mike Lawyer's exposure of USAID funds being allocated to a rapper in Gaza who used them to produce antisemitic content, and after additional information obtained by Ad Kan raised serious concerns about USAID funds reaching political organizations in Israel.
"A refreshing wind of change is blowing in the United States, uprooting corruption and instilling a healthier national approach. Now that Elon Musk has exposed unjustified US government funding in foreign countries, it is time to investigate Israel and reveal which organizations are receiving American government funds. Sunlight is the best disinfectant," Kreuzer added.
Ad Kan is confident Musk will respond positively.
Gilad Ach, CEO of Ad Kan, an organization dedicated to exposing foreign funding directed at anti-Israel groups, stated, "We commend MK Krezuer for his letter and are confident that Elon Musk will respond positively and assist Israeli society in uncovering foreign actors working to undermine Israel’s security from within. For years, we have tracked international bodies seeking to harm Israel. This letter marks a welcome shift in state authorities' approach to this issue."
