Nationally record-breaking heat wave expected to continue

The Meteorological Service announced on Sunday that Sunday's heatwave broke Israeli temperature records set for the first half of March and is expected to continue tomorrow.

In Eilat, a temperature of 37°C was recorded today, breaking the previous record set in 2004.

In Kfar Blum in the Hula Valley, today's temperature was the highest in 12 years.
