West Yorkshire Police declared a major incident in Leeds, northern England, after three people were injured in an attack with a crossbow on Saturday afternoon.
Police announced they had responded to a "serious incident" involving a man seen with weapons. He was located and arrested following a search.
Local media reported that a large number of vehicles and police officers descended on Headingley, in the north west of the city.
Three people were injured in the attack, with injuries declared non-life-threatening.

Eyewitnesses told local media that a man was seen with guns, a crossbow, and a bat shortly before the attack happened.
Social media footage from the area showed a masked man running down the street, before stopping in front of a pram and beginning to load a weapon.
