Palestinian killed by security forces - report

The IDF said it was looking into an incident in which a Palestinian was shot and killed at the entrance to Beita village, near the city of Nablus.

Security forces shot a Palestinian who was approaching them with an unidentified object, Ynet reported Tuesday night.

Soldiers were approached by a Palestinian man who appeared to be holding a metal bar and did not stop when they told him to and after they had fired in the air, according to Ynet who cited the IDF. 

The man succumbed to his injuries.
The IDF said it was looking into the incident at the entrance to Beita village, near the city of Nablus.
Some locals described the dead man as a 41-year-old plumber who was heading home from work when he was shot dead.
