Shinzo Abe to become first Japanese official to visit Pearl Harbor
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe declared his intention to visit Pearl Harbor in a televised press release that took place earlier on Monday.According to the New York Times, he will be joined on his trip to the naval base by US president Barack Obama, who made a symbolic visit of his own to the Japanese city of Hiroshima last year.
