US unearths historic Holocaust footage of Nazi death train liberation
Survivors, mostly women and children, can be seen in the photos wearing their normal clothes, rather than striped outfits.
Prisoners from an evacuation train from Bergen-Belsen pose next to a railroad car in Magdeburg. This photo was probably taken a few days after liberation since written on the side of the car is "Bergen-Belsen" and "We are going to Israel by way of France."(photo credit: Copyright: United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Provenance: Mark Nusbaum)
