Mining roads and destroying bridges
Ukrainian forces "shot and destroyed" a Russian passage near the Siverskyi Donets river, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine posted on Facebook.
Russian forces are mining roads and bridges in the Kherson Oblast, according to a report from Pravda on Sunday. This would block residents from leaving the occupied territory for Ukrainian-controlled areas.
Russia also destroyed the Pavlograd bridge in the Luhansk region, CNN reported citing Serhiy Hayday, the head of the regional military administration.
Russia deployed Iskander-M short-range ballistic missile system launchers to Belgorod, according to a report by the Ukrainian General Staff of Armed Forces on Sunday. Belgorod is located approximately 32 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
The General Staff also warned that Russia is preparing to resume their offensive on Sloviansk in the Donetsk Oblast, as they have shelled villages of Virnopillia, Dibrivne, and Dovhenke in the area.
Russian forces are allegedly reinforcing and strengthening their position in the Kharkiv Oblast, while trying to capture the city of Sievierodonetsk, in order to prevent Ukrainian advances toward the Russian border, according to a Saturday update by The Institute for the Study of War. The UK Defense Ministry's latest defense intelligence update states that Sievierodonetsk "remains one of Russia's immediate tactical priorities."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that many Ukrainians were killed following a missile strike in the Chernihiv region, CNN reported last week, accusing Russia of trying to "kill as many Ukrainians as possible" for initiating the strike.
The same day, guerrillas had helped Ukrainian forces destroy Russian artillery in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the regional military administration wrote in a Telegram update. Hours later, Russian forces fired a missile on civilian infrastructure in a village located in the Vilnianschyna area.
Some civilians have been injured in the attack.
Russia pounded Ukrainian forces with airstrikes and artillery in the east and the south, targeting command centers, troops, and ammunition depots, the Russian defense ministry said on Sunday.
Major General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the defense ministry, said air-launched missiles hit three command points, 13 areas where troops and Ukrainian military equipment amassed, as well as four ammunition depots in the Donbas.
In Ukraine's southern region of Mykolaiv, Russian rockets hit a mobile anti-drone system near the settlement of Hannivka, around 100 km northeast of Mykolaiv city, Konashenkov said.
Rockets "and artillery hit 583 areas where troops and Ukrainian military equipment amassed, 41 control points, 76 artillery and mortar units in firing positions, including three Grad batteries, as well as a Bukovel Ukrainian electronic warfare station near the settlement of Hannivka, Mykolaiv region," he said.

Food shortage
Russia has been accused by Zelensky on Saturday of purposely blocking 22 million tons of food, and that many countries will face a "food crisis" if Ukraine's ports are blocked, CNN reported.
The Ukrainian leader made these statements after meeting with Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa in Kyiv.
Ukraine is the fourth largest exporter of corn in the world, according to the US State Department.
Damages to educational institutions
More than 11 educational institutions and over 1,000 apartments in Lozova in the Kharkiv region were damaged by a Russian missile strike, the city's mayor said on Sunday on Telegram.
President Zelensky also stated the same day in a different Telegram post that the amount of educational institutions destroyed in Ukraine overall since the start of the invasion is over 1,000.
Ukraine National Police wrote on Facebook that Russian troops attacked 12 settlements, destroying 58 buildings on Sunday.
Casualties
Since February 24, the start of what Moscow calls its "special military operation," Russia has destroyed 174 aircraft, 125 helicopters, 977 unmanned aerial vehicles, 317 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,198 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, and 408 multiple rocket launchers, Konashenkov said.
In contrast, Russian casualties as of Sunday include 29,050 personnel, 1,285 tanks, 3,141 armored personnel carriers, 2,194 vehicles, nearly 600 artillery systems, 93 anti-aircraft defense systems, 170 helicopters and 13 boats.
Refugees
Over 11,500 refugees have entered Russia through checkpoints in the Rostov region, Russian state media outlet reported.
The Rostov region borders the easternmost border of Ukraine.
