Ten people killed, including children, in rocket fire in Majdal Shams
According to military guidelines, the residents of several localities in the Northern Galilee were told to stay near shelters following the direct hit.
Following a direct hit in the area of Majdal Shams, a large Druze town, on Saturday evening, ten were killed, among them children and teenagers between the ages of 10 and 20. Over 34 were wounded to varying degrees and were transported to hospitals by Magen David Adom teams and IDF helicopters, MDA said in a statement.

Gaza death toll since Oct. 7 reaches 39,258, Hamas-run Gaza health min. says
The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry stated on Saturday that the death toll in Gaza has reached 39,258 since the war started on October 7 of last year.
A further 90,589 have thus far been wounded in the conflict, the Gazan ministry added.
The number has not been independently verified, and the ministry does not differentiate between civilians and combatants in its toll.
The Hamas-run ministry has also been repeatedly criticized for distorting casualty figures.
In May, departing from Hamas’s reported figures, the UN halved the number of women and children it had previously reported had been killed thus far in the war.

Prior to the strike, the IDF explained it took numerous steps to ensure the safety of Palestinian civilians, including the use of appropriate munitions and operating on aerial surveillance and other intelligence.

According to the source, Hamas has demanded that Israel's withdrawal from the Strip would include the Netzarim Corridor and the Philadelphi Corridor.
This week, the Israeli news organization Maariv reported that Israel had informed Cairo that it agreed to conditions related to the Philadelphi Corridor but did not specify those conditions.

“BON APPETIT!!” the Palestinian Youth Movement wrote on Instagram, adding, “Mealworms and maggots (not talking about Netanyahu) were left on their banquet tables, and crickets were released on multiple floors of the hotel.”
