US President Donald Trump reiterated his statements on Sunday night about the status of the Iranian nuclear facilities after strikes were launched against them, claiming that "obliteration is an accurate term" and that "monumental damage was done to all nuclear sites" in the country.

Iran reportedly sent Trump the threat at the G7 summit earlier this month and warned that the Islamic Republic could activate "sleeper cells" from within the US.

Shas chairman Arye Deri on Sunday night described Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer as “a messenger from God” whose behind-the-scenes diplomacy was critical to last week’s joint Israel-US strike on Iran’s nuclear program.
Speaking to Channel 14’s Yinon Magal, Deri said the Israeli public had “received a gift” in Dermer, who has spent a quarter-century advising Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the Iranian threat.
Iranian officials on Sunday downplayed the extent of damage from US airstrikes on key nuclear facilities.
The Fordow uranium enrichment site, buried deep in the mountains near Qom, was a primary target of the strikes. Iranian lawmaker Manan Raisi, who represents Qom, claimed the damage was “quite superficial” and mostly limited to above-ground structures.
US President Donald Trump suggested a regime change to the Islamic Republic of Iran on Truth Social on Sunday.

Iranian officials are considering removing Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as the Supreme Leader of Iran after the country endured airstrikes by Israel and the United States, two sources involved in the discussions told The Atlantic in a report published on Sunday.
“Ours is just one idea,” a source told the Atlantic. “Tehran is now full of such plots. They are also talking to Europeans about the future of Iran. Everybody knows Khamenei’s days are numbered. Even if he stays in office, he won’t have actual power."
Israel has rejected a European Union report saying it may be breaching human rights obligations in Gaza and the West Bank as a “moral and methodological failure,” according to a document seen by Reuters on Sunday.
The note, sent to EU officials ahead of a foreign ministers' meeting on Monday, said the report by the bloc’s diplomatic service failed to consider Israel’s challenges and was based on inaccurate information.
"The Foreign Ministry of the State of Israel rejects the document ... and finds it to be a complete moral and methodological failure," the note said, adding that it should be dismissed entirely.
European nations have been increasingly critical of the massive civilian toll of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's military campaign against Palestinian terror group Hamas since its October 7, 2023 massacre of Israeli communities.
