Soldiers from the Alexandroni Brigade, operating under the command of Division 210, completed an overnight operation targeting Hamas terrorists in the Beit Jinn area of Syria, the IDF announced on Thursday.

Acting on intelligence gathered over recent weeks, IDF troops executed a targeted nighttime operation in Syria and apprehended several Hamas terrorists who had been attempting to advance multiple terror plots against Israeli civilians and IDF troops in Syria.

The arrested terrorists were transferred into Israeli territory for further interrogation by Unit 504.

In addition, the troops located and confiscated weapons in the area, including firearms, magazines, and ammunition.
