The Police Investigations Department on Wednesday filed an indictment with the Haifa District Court against police detective Aharon Naatchu for allegedly committing multiple sexual assaults, harassment and extortion crimes against minors. The indictment said that Naatchu, 33, who lives in the North and serves with the Tiberias police, sexually assaulted a 13-year-old minor and several other minors. He was arrested on December 16, following his pursuing minors on Facebook, Kik, Skype and Whatsapp.Over the summer, Naatchu allegedly seduced a 13-year-old girl, “A.A,” whose name is under gag order, via Facebook to meet with him and stripped and sexually assaulted her during their meeting, including forcing her to perform sexual acts on him. After the meeting, Naatchu still seemed to have some power over A.A., sending her lurid messages and receiving responses from her, according to the indictment. At one point, however, said the indictment, Naatchu grew impatient and demanded further sexual favors, without which he would tell A.A.’s father what she had done with him.A.A. responded that Naatchu was 33, she was 13, and asked if he wanted her to go to the police and if he was sure he wanted to continue to pressure her.The indictment said that Naatchu had at least three other minor victims, girls and boys, whom he harassed using various social media platforms.Part of the indictment’s allegations are that he made contact with his other alleged victims using his office and power as a police officer. The state asked to remand Naatchu to police custody until the end of the proceedings against him.
