Iran’s IRGC unveiled the exhibit ‘Heaven Time’ last month, which is designed to look and feel like hell on earth.

Mohsen Jafari, commander of the Revolutionary Guards' Fouman Division, said that the exhibit will enable "citizens will see a simulated experience of concepts such as the state of the grave, confronting the good and the bad, and crossing the Sirat Bridge (a bridge over hellfire that every person will cross on the Day of Judgment in Islamic theology),” according to BBC Farsi.

Videos shared by Iran International reveal visitors crossing a bridge and watching costumed actors battle surrounded by open flames.

Condemning the IRGC’s exhibit

Masih Alinejad, an Iranian-American journalist who survived an Iran-funded attempted assassination attempt, wrote on X/Twitter: “The Islamic Republic just built its own version of Hell in Iran to terrify people into obeying Islamic laws. Fake flames. Cheap props. Government-paid demons in Halloween costumes all designed by the IRGC and meant to scare people into obeying Sharia law.

“Show your hair? Burn in fire. Sing as a woman? Tortured by devils. Drink wine or throw a mixed party? Straight to hell.

“They’re not warning people. They’re embarrassing themselves. This is what desperation looks like: a dying regime trying to stay alive with cosplay terror and religious theater.”

BBC Farsi also noted that a number of the regime’s supporters were critical over its muted depiction of heaven, insisting the exhibit could push youth towards sin.
