The historic Yenikapı Hamamı, also known as Gavur Hamamı (Infidel Bath), located in Antalya's ancient Kaleiçi district, has been put up for sale for $2.5 million. According to Sozcu, the decision to sell the bath was made by its eight heirs, and a "For Sale" sign was prominently displayed on the building, attracting considerable attention from locals and tourists alike.

Estimated to have been built by Greeks in the 19th century, Yenikapı Hamamı covers an area of 705 square meters. According to Milliyet, the bath includes three main sections called Soğukluk (Cold Room), Ilıklık (Warm Room), and Sıcaklık (Hot Room). The upper part features a large dome with 104 "elephant eyes" (fil gözü), which allow natural light to illuminate the interior.

Notable for its architecture and craftsmanship, Yenikapı Hamamı attracts visitors with its impressive design. Until 1940, it was operated as a bath by Turks who came to the city during the population exchange period. After 1940, the bath served various purposes, including as a warehouse and an entertainment venue, before its doors were eventually locked. The bath was registered as a "monumental structure" by the Antalya Regional Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage. It also gave its name to the street it is located on, further cementing its place in local history.

Kaleiçi, where the bath is situated, is Antalya's historical district dating back to the 2nd century BCE and is one of the city's symbols. The district boasts thousands of years of historical buildings and fascinates those who visit.
