Thousands of Israelis found themselves stranded abroad, just before Rosh Hashanah, after the foreign airlines canceled their flights to Israel. The great escape of the foreign airlines comes after the controversial recommendation of EASA - the European Aviation Agency - not to fly to Israel until November.

In order to deal with the great pressure to return to Israel at a time when all the flights are full before the holiday anyway, the local airlines increased the pace and added flights. To ease the stranded passengers, who are forced to pay high prices of about $800 one way, the Sun Dor company of the El Al Group announced that it is adding flights from and to Larnaca - with all tickets selling for $99 for a one-way flight.

According to the company, a flight from Larnaca to Tel Aviv will leave tomorrow and another flight on the eve of the holiday (Wed), which will be carried out on the company's Dreamliner plane with over 230 seats. The tickets for the added flights will be sold at a flat price of $99 for a one-way ticket, and $199 for a round-trip ticket. The tickets include a trolley.

Here are the additions:

• Flight LY5142 from Larnaca to Tel Aviv will take off on October 1 at 13:20

• Flight LY5171 from Tel Aviv to Larnaca will take off on October 2 at 09:00

• Flight LY5172 from Larnaca to Tel Aviv will take off on October 2 at 11:40
