The near-constant dilemma before a vacation—what to pack, what will match, enough quantity to support every look for any situation without exceeding the weight limit at the airport—is manageable. However, once you're lounging on the beach, heading to a sunset dinner, and all you need is the perfect hairdo that doesn't require a visit to the local salon, this becomes crucial.
Hair stylist Tomer Giladi, who along with his partner Ofri Metza, runs a dreamy beauty complex for hair, tanning, and fashion in Herzliya Pituach, provides key tips for styling long and lush hair on vacation. The muse, of course, is Metza, a fashion designer whose designs are also available at the beauty complex. She is currently seven months pregnant and recently posed for summer photoshoots for the new boutique jewelry brand GiaGem, led by Lehi Atar Bachar, specializing in luxurious stones and uniquely cut diamonds.

Last Tip for Maintaining a Fresh Look Throughout the Vacation: Leave-In Mask"I like L'Oréal's Absolut Repair," Giladi adds, "but there are other options on the market. The mask stays on the hair and protects it from heat damage, sun radiation, and prevents frizz. Apply on towel-dried hair and leave it to air dry naturally. If you have more time, dry your hair with a hairdryer or curling iron. If you have highlights, try to keep your head out of the water," Giladi adds. High chlorine levels in the pool can cause the hair to take on an undesirable hue.
