A number of Russian surveillance aircraft were spotted entering and operating within the Alaskan Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ) - a buffer zone outside the state's airspace - over the past two days, the North American Aersopace Defense (NORAD) Command announced on Wednesday morning.
On two separate occasions, over the past 2 days, the Alaskan NORAD Region detected, tracked and identified Russian surveillance aircraft entering and operating within the Alaskan ADIZ. The Russian aircraft did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace. #WeHaveTheWatch
