A vehicle drove onto the sidewalk and hit a number of pedestrians on Aryeh Akiva Street in Madinah Square in Tel Aviv in an apparent accident, one of the pedestrians was pronounced dead in the hospital, according to MDA and police reports.
One of them was critically injured, one seriously injured and two moderately injured upon evacuation to the hospital, according to MDA reports.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and evacuated 4 injured people to Ichilov Hospital, including a young woman in her 20s in critical condition who was undergoing life-saving actions during her evacuation, her death was later pronounced at the hospital.
Another 22-year-old man in serious condition with multisystem injuries and 2 women in their 50s in moderate condition were evacuated as well. The driver of the car did not require medical treatment.
"There was a big commotion at the place. We saw the jeep that crashed into the store and 4 injured people lying on the sidewalk. Two of them were trapped, one wounded woman was lying in the front part of the vehicle and another wounded woman was lying near the jeep while she was fully conscious with bruises on her head and back. We gave her medical treatment and evacuated her to the hospital in a moderate and stable condition,'' Itay Atias, a senior MDA medic, said.

according to police reports, a female driver, 60, lost control of her vehicle, went up on the sidewalk, and hit a jewelry store and 4 pedestrians. The woman is currently being questioned by police forces at the scene.

"I got under the car to assess the medical condition of the wounded who were trapped and we started the medical treatment. A 22-year-old man was fully conscious and suffered severe multi-system damage and crushing injuries, we rescued him while providing life-saving medical treatment And we quickly evacuated him to the hospital when his condition was serious and stable," Hagai Natan, a senior MDA medic, said.
MDA paramedic Chen Elimelech added that while evacuation and treatment efforts of the three injured people were underway, "we provided medical treatment to the injured woman who was trapped for a long time under the car suffering from a severe injury to her lower body. After many minutes of rescue operations that included medical treatment, we transferred her to the intensive care unit and evacuated her to the hospital in moderate and stable condition."
