One person was killed, two people were seriously wounded, four others were moderately wounded, and one other person was lightly wounded after a Hezbollah anti-tank missile hit the area in which they were farming in Margaliot on Monday.

The wounded, all Thai workers, were evacuated by helicopter to Rabin Medical Center-Hasharon Hospital, Rambam Medical Center, and Ziv Medical Center.

The IDF called the incident extremely serious and vowed to respond, including eliminating specific Hezbollah individuals.

There was an implication that the IDF would target individuals involved in Monday’s attack.

“Using an MDA bulletproof intensive care vehicle, we arrived near the place where the anti-tank missile fire occurred and retrieved the wounded from there,” said MDA senior medic Yigal Ben Udiz and MDA paramedic Walid Kezel. “Together with the IDF medical personnel, we provided medical treatment and evacuated five wounded people suffering from shrapnel injuries with air force helicopters.”

IDF strikes Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon

Shortly after the anti-tank missile attack, the IDF struck a site in Chihine in southern Lebanon, according to the IDF. There were terrorists present in the targeted building, according to the army.

Later on Monday evening, the IDF announced that it had attacked multiple buildings belonging to Hezbollah.

Another announcement followed that after receiving an alert about a hostile aircraft intrusion in the North, the IAF successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target.

Additionally, several Hezbollah rockets were detected from Lebanese territory in the Mount Dov area on the northern border. The IDF has since responded to the areas of the launches with artillery fire.

Additionally, on Sunday night, the IDF struck sites belonging to Hezbollah in Ayta ash Shab and Kfarkela. On Monday morning, the IDF struck Ayta ash Shab again.

These escalations came after a short period of reduced tensions between Israel and Hezbollah over the weekend and for much of Sunday.

Meanwhile, the IDF announced on Monday that it has destroyed 85% of the strategic tunnels in Gaza’s Khan Yunis.

The announcement came shortly after a parallel update that the air force had eliminated a terrorist squad less than 30 minutes after the squad fired rockets toward Hatzerim and Be’eri on Saturday.

All of this came as the IDF on Sunday launched its first full division-level attacks in Khan Yunis in multiple weeks, having achieved general control in early February, and reduced military activities there to smaller-scale attacks in recent weeks.

During the large operation in recent days, somewhere between 80 to a couple of hundred Hamas terrorists were arrested, around 35-40 were killed, and several thousand civilians were evacuated.

Dating back to the late January invasion of western Khan Yunis, 1,200 Hamas terrorists have been arrested in that area.

The current area of fighting, the Hamed neighborhood, has around 120 buildings, almost all five stories, as well as mosques.

Attacks are being carried out by the Unit 89 commando unit, Unit 7, Unit 84, and others.

The IDF is providing unspecified direct aid to civilians as they are evacuated.

This aid is designed both to capitalize on the divide between Palestinian civilians and Hamas as well as in some cases to increase the motivation for Palestinian civilians to provide intelligence about Hamas tunnels, leaders, and Israeli hostages.

The IDF provided no new information about the hostages, and the latest impression is that most hostages are in Rafah, with some in central Gaza.

Leaked reports from the US about hostages remaining in Khan Yunis appear to be untrue.

Regarding tunnels, over 20 km. of Khan Yunis’s 140 km. of tunnels have been destroyed, but almost all of the strategic tunnels have been destroyed.

In terms of the medium-level command tunnels and the least important tactical travel tunnels, the IDF has said in the past that it could take years to destroy all of them.

The Bislamach Brigade also continued its strikes in the town of Al Qarara, north of Gaza.
