Israel's Supreme Court ordered the state to respond within the time frame of one month to its petition regarding the failure to establish a state commission of inquiry into the events of October 7, according to Friday Israeli media reports.
Those who signed the petition were parents of those taken hostage by Hamas on October 7, along with parents of those murdered during the attacks.
The Darkenu organization, one of Israel's largest civil society movements, has also signed the petition.
