Alarms blared through Tel Aviv and other parts of central Israel on Tuesday night.
Shortly after, the IDF reported that five rockets were identified crossing from Lebanon, some of which were intercepted, and the rest fell in open areas. The details of the incident are under investigation.
The rockets, were launched on October 7, the year anniversary of Hamas's attacks on southern Israel in which 1200 people were murdered by the terror group, another 251 were taken hostage, 101 of which still held captive by the terror group.
The Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group later took responsbility for the attack on Tuesday night, claiming it had targeted the Glilot army base between Tel Aviv and Herzliya.
Hezbollah targets Israel's north
Close to midnight, the IDF posted on X, formerly Twitter, Hezbollah, who "dragged the region into a multi-front war" with "their constant attacks on Israeli civilians," had launched those five rockets "less than an hour until October 8," which was also when they began their attack against Israel in 2023.

Earlier Israeli media reported that a fire broke out in a Segula cemetary in Petah Tikva as a result of interception sharpnel. However, following an initial investigation it was determined the fire was unrelated to the attack.
In addition to the rockets fired towards Israel's central regions, Hezbollah later launched more rockets targeting Israel's north.
No wounded were reported in any of the attacks.
