The IDF has completed its preparations for receiving the returning hostages from the Gaza Strip, the military announced Saturday evening.
The deal will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, pending the release of the names of the three female hostages who are set to be released first.
In collaboration with the Health Ministry, other government offices, and security organizations, a process for the reception of hostages has been developed, "ensuring the necessary support and care," the statement read.
As part of these preparations, the IDF established and equipped initial reception points where medical care and personal support will be provided.
Afterward, the returned hostages will proceed to hospitals where they will reunite with their families.
Exercise patience and sensitivity
The IDF urged the public to exercise patience and sensitivity and to respect the privacy of the returned hostages and their families.
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum asked the public to stop spreading rumors about the list of hostages to be released tomorrow and stop contacting the families on the matter.
"As the release list is about to be shared, the headquarters urgently requests the public: Please do not contribute to the dissemination of rumors. Rely exclusively on updates from official sources," the statement reads.
Thirty three hostages are set to be released in the first phase of the deal. To start the initiation of the ceasefire, “IDF troops will implement the operational procedures in the field in accordance with the set agreements,” the military said.
The ceasefire will take place in three phases, over the course of which the IDF will withdraw from Gaza, and Hamas will release all the hostages held in the Gaza Strip.
