President Donald Trump reintroduced himself to the global stage on Thursday morning in his speech to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, by claiming credit for the ceasefire and hostage deal between Israel and Hamas.
"Before even taking office, my team negotiated a ceasefire agreement in the Middle East, which wouldn't have happened without us, as I think most of the people in the room know," he said.
Trump called the hostages returning home a "beautiful sight" and said, "They'll be coming in more and more."
