Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar is reportedly no longer part of the hostage deal negotiating team, Israeli state broadcaster KAN reported Monday, citing several sources.
Bar's former deputy, M. is currently leading the talks on behalf of the Shin Bet in Cairo.
Sources familiar with the details say that Bar may join a delegation in the future if negotiations regarding phase two take place.
The Shin Bet chose not to comment.
