Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated Germany's incoming chancellor, Friedrich Merz, following his victory in the elections, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said on Monday.
Merz said he would invite the Israeli leader for an official visit to Germany, the PMO added, despite the arrest warrant issued against Netanyahu by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
