Indictment charges filed against 17 Bedouin elected officials in corruption case

The State Attorney's Office filed indictments against 17 defendants from the Bedouin sector from Lod on Monday, Walla reported.

The defendants include a current council head, six former council heads, their deputies, and other elected officials from the sector, and a senior official in the Education Ministry.

The indictments were for corruption charges, which include bribery, fraud, breach of trust, and money laundering.
