Israel Police has asked the public to avoid using fireworks and explosives during the month of Ramadan over safety concerns.
The use of firecrackers can cause severe injuries, property damage, and panic among citizens, police said.
The police added that heightened enforcement could be expected along with preventive activities to maintain public safety.
