US envoy Steve Witkoff will arrive in the Middle East next week and meet in Abu Dhabi with Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, who heads Israel's negotiating team on the hostage issue, a senior US official said.
The official added that Witkoff may also fly to Doha or Cairo if there are developments in the negotiations on the hostage deal.
