The IDF is expected to send 5,000 draft letters to members of the haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community on Sunday, with an additional 4,000 letters to be sent at the beginning of May.
Around 10,000 draft letters have been sent to haredim since the beginning of the year, and another 14,000 letters are expected to be issued by the end of the year, according to IDF data.
