Netanyahu responsible for cabinet leaks to media, PMO confirms

The Prime Minister's Office confirmed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was responsible for leaking information from the cabinet to media outlets, Ynet reported Monday.

"The information the Prime Minister chose to release was meant to counter Hamas propaganda and promote the release of our hostages — which indeed happened," the PMO told Haaretz.
