Israeli President Isaac Herzog met US Vice President JD Vance during the Pope's Inauguration on Sunday in Vatican City.
Vance is reportedly expected to visit Israel on Tuesday, Israeli media reported early Sunday morning.
The White House is in talks to coordinate meetings with Israeli officials.
Herzog also met Pope Leo XIV while at the Vatican.
