Gaza fishing zone extended to 12 nautical miles, more trade permitted

The fishing zone along the coast of the Gaza Strip was extended from nine nautical miles to 12 nautical miles on Monday, in light of the relative calm since Operation Guardian of the Walls.
Additionally, the import of medical equipment, fishing equipment and raw materials for industry and textiles from Israel to the Gaza Strip will be allowed through the Kerem Shalom Crossing. Additional agricultural and textile exports from the Gaza Strip will also be permitted.
