From golden age to lion's den: Danny Danon speaks to 'Post' about his post as UN ambassador

Danny Danon said Israel must take the UN seriously, because the Palestinians are tremendously adept at using it to try to turn Israel into a pariah state akin to South Africa’s status amid apartheid.

‘IT IS a different UN, and a different situation to the one I left here four years ago.’ Danny Danon returns to the UN as Israel’s ambassador, after serving there from 2015 to 2020.
