Israeli Air Force strike Hezbollah terrorist in southern Lebanon, two killed

IDF soldiers identified a Hezbollah operative in the area of Aitaroun in southern Lebanon, the IDF reported on Saturday afternoon. Shortly thereafter, an IAF aircraft struck the terrorist.

According to Lebanese state news agency NNA, two people were killed in the attack near Aitaroun.

Additionally, IDF fighter jets targeted terrorist infrastructure in the area of Khiam. Additionally, earlier on Saturday, IDF tanks fired toward a Hezbollah military structure in the area of Kfarkela.

Over the past day, IDF artillery and mortars struck to remove threats in the areas of Kfarchouba, Kfarkela, Houla and Kfarhamam, the military added.

Palestinian President Abbas calls for urgent UN General Assembly meeting

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas instructed the Palestinian delegate in the UN to request an emergency session of the Security Council to discuss the repercussions of the Israeli operation in Nuseirat, Palestinian Authority state-run news agency Wafa reported on Saturday.

According to the report, Abbas said, "The international community must urgently intervene to stop the tragedy of our people in Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem."

'A hero of Israel': Yamam soldier Arnon Zamora succumbs to wounds after rescue op.

Arnon Zamora was fatally wounded during the rescue operation, which brought back four hostages from Hamas captivity.

Ch.-Insp. Arnon Zamora, 36, the Yamam fighter who was wounded in Saturday's hostage rescue operation, succumbed to his wounds at the hospital, the Israel Police announced the same day.

Zamora was fatally wounded during the rescue operation that succeeded in securing the return of four hostages from Hamas captivity.

Former hostages Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40), were kidnapped from the Nova music fesitval on October 7 and spent 245 days in Hamas captivity.

Netanyahu told her hoe happy he was to see she was back home with her father and that she should hug her mother for him.

Noa's mother is suffering from terminal brain cancer and has repeatedly expressed her wish to see her daughter again before she dies.
