IDF targets Houthi chief in Yemen, IDF sources confirm to 'Post'

The IDF was struck in Yemen on Saturday night in an attempted targeted attack on Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, Israeli military sources confirmed to The Jerusalem Post.

Knesset, courts to operate in emergency format Sunday, Monday

Justice Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Yariv Levin (Likud) signed an order activating a special emergency format for the courts and labor tribunals over the next two days.

Under this framework, only special hearings will be held in the courts, such as urgent temporary relief in civil proceedings, arrest and administrative detention hearings, criminal offenses related to the special emergency situation, and urgent petitions to the High Court of Justice.

Knesset employees, except essential staff, will work remotely on Sunday.
 
 
 
 


Iraq urges US to prevent Israeli aircraft from using Iraqi airspace to strike Iran

Iraq on Saturday called on the United States to prevent Israeli aircrafts from breaching Iraqi airspace to carry out attacks against Iran, citing bilateral agreements and international law.

"The Iraqi government urges the United States to uphold its responsibilities under the agreements signed between the two countries and prevent aircraft belonging to the Zionist entity from once again violating Iraqi airspace," military spokesman Sabah al-Numan said in a statement.

Iran's state TV said on Saturday that "heavy and destructive" attacks by Iran against Israel were expected within the coming hours, as the Israeli military continues to strike several targets across Iran.


Security forces arrest three terrorist arms dealers in West Bank

The IDF, Border Guard, and Shin Bet arrested three terrorist arms dealers in the West Bank city of Kabatiya, and seized multiple weapons, Israel Police announced Saturday night.

In a joint undercover operation, authorities arrested terrorists from two buildings simultaneously.
One terrorist attempted to escape but was successfully recovered.

Authorities also located two airsoft guns, ammunition, and additional weapons.

In the second building, terrorists from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group were found and arrested under suspicion of being involved in shooting attacks, trafficking in weapons, and planning future attacks.

As officers were leaving the site, terrorists launched explosives at them, Israel Police said. Authorities responded with fire.
