Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will testify after he had initially asked to push off his testimony due to the Gaza war.

When asked to confirm that the prime minister opposed the Yisrael Hayom bill, Levin responded, “He gave me an unequivocal instruction not to promote the law."

"As far as I was aware, Netanyahu was against the proposal of this law, and I assumed that he would propose an appeal even if it did pass."

Harow stressed that his time serving under Netanyahu was perceived by him as an act of Zionism. 

Netanyahu is accused of having engaged in fraud and breach of trust for meeting with Mozes about advancing legislation to cripple his news competitor in exchange for positive coverage.

Case 1000 is probably the strongest case against Netanyahu due to testimony by Arnon Milchin this week and previous testimony by Milchin’s aide, Hadas Kline.

Lapid is taking the stand for Case 1000, in which Netanyahu is alleged to have received expensive gifts from Israeli businessman Arnon Milchan.

Harow faced fraud and breach of trust charges, but made a plea bargain to testify against his former boss.

For years, as it has appeared sources in law enforcement were leaking stories against him in the media, Harow mostly held his fire.

The American-born Harow testified in relation to Case 2000, which alleges that Netanyahu sought to weaken a competitor of a paper in return for positive coverage.
