Batya Levinthal

Batya Levinthal is a Jerusalem Post contributor and journalist with extensive experience in global affairs, politics, and economics. She has reported on major world events, including wars, peace agreements, elections, coronations, pandemics, global summits, economic crises, political upheavals, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, sporting events, and cultural milestones.

Previously, Batya served as a news anchor, international and political correspondent, and senior producer at i24NEWS, where she delivered breaking news, conducted high-profile interviews, reported from the field, and coordinated major broadcast events.

Originally from South Africa, Batya moved to Israel in 2013. She holds an M.A. in Government and a B.A. in Communications from Reichman University. Proficient in English, Spanish, and Hebrew she continues to report from around the world, providing sharp analysis and firsthand insights from history in the making.
